It seems that the fellows at Decipher (long considered the best in the business on CCG design IMHO) are looking to break the mold again. They got me into CCGs with Star Wars (which I'd still be playing if they hadn't lost the license) and now their new Fight Klub game looks to re-invent the community aspect of the card gaming side of the hobby. Check it out at http://www.decipher.com/fightklub/blog/ if you're interested. _________________

Decipher's new Fight Klub CCG is launched and looking good. I'm waiting for the delivery of my first cards now and will post a review of the game once I have them in my hands and have played it a couple of times.
Meanwhile anyone interested should pop over to the Fight Klub website and look around. The rules are there and two demo decks are available, though you'll need a colour printer (which I don't have) to make use of them. You'll need the name of a current player to get in, but that's OK. Just tell 'em Fishy sent you. _________________

My first impressions are that I have an intense desire to play Jason Voorhees (or J-Ho as he is henceforth known), and that the Magnum Eyetrap from Saw II is INTENSELY overpowered and needs to be a Jigsaw only card.
Looks like it has potential though. _________________ Bow ties are cool. |
